My uncle was a CPA and in his office he had a new revised 1040 form on his wall that went like this:

Line 1: How much did you make?

He left off the line where "Tax prepaid" was deducted from the TOTAL TAX OWED line. That QUARTERLY TAX PAID was well over 1 million.
