1) Tariffs are not a tax... the most accurate was I can describe them, is that they are a "Users Fee"... America has the LARGEST FREE MARKET economy in the world, WHICH by itself something like 40% of the entire rest of the world combined... and a 10% "tariff", 9 times out of 10, will be absorbed by the foreign manufacturer and/or the country of origin... and they will be HAPPY... because they will still GET RICH !
2) MOST OTHER countries ALREADY have HUGE tariffs on American products, in order to keep them OUT of their nations, and so, support their own producers... farm products are among them.. WHAT that does is it keeps the foreign nation self sufficient in food products... even though they could be cheaper if bought from America... BUT, I think Trump understands that, and so is subsidizing our farmers with the taffies he is collecting... as far as other products go... if they can get away with imposing HUGE tariffs on America, and America does NOT in return? America is stupid, and they get rich quicker !!
3) FINALLY, another way that foreign manufacturers can AVOID American tariffs... is by building the manufacturing hubs HERE, in America... where they pay taxes to America, use American workers, and build the American GDP and Economy !!
SO, HOW LOW is that "bar... FOR YOU, when YOU don't even understand BASIC concepts of import/export & business... and accuse TRUMP of being STUPID? It may be ONE of the reasons YOU are voting for Democrats !!!
AMERICA, and AMERICANS, NEED to WAKE up… There is NOTHING “Democratic” about the CURRENT American “Democrat Party”!
