I don't really argue cars anymore. Nothing really impresses me about them.
Status symbol, creature features, speed and power, etc. Nothing to root for anymore.

I agree. I have always felt like a car is a means to an end. It is transportation - not status. The most important aspect of a car, for me, is that it does not attract the cops. That means no bumper stickers, no sports cars, no red cars, no hot rods, novanity plates, no plate holders signifying membership in some group. It means something forgettable. I have one sticker in the corner of the back glass for the cops if they pull me over. NRA.
Having a near-invisble vehicle suits me fine, too.
