Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi faced scrutiny for dropping a 2013 probe into Trump University fraud allegations shortly after her political committee received a $25,000 donation from Donald Trump's foundation. Though a prosecutor found insufficient evidence for bribery charges, the donation was illegal for a charity, resulting in a $2,500 IRS fine for Trump.
