I once recieved a bonus when I managed a store for Dominos Corporate in the Vegas market. It was during a rollout of a new set of pizzas called the American Classics, if memory serves. So, every time I sold a ham and pineapple (a fairly cheap pizza to build), ringing it up as a classic not only helped to win the product roll-out contest, but it took out of inventory expensive products which did not come out of inventory in reality. So my inventory was artifically improved, which improved my numbers  AND made balancing the books easier. 

I won the contest, and the bonus - which I split with my mangement team, who had helped me win by rampant cheating. 

At the ceremony where I got the award, I said the following to the assembled management body: "Many of you cheated, thinking that you could win by cheating. You did not win. Many of you worked hard, and worked smart. You also did not win.To win these contests, you must work hard, youmust work smart, and you must cheat."

There was thunderous applause. There where cheers. There were peals of laughter and still more applause. My peers in the management body were elated that I had spoken the truth out loud - a revolutionary act. The company bosses were extremely pissed off. They hated that I told the truth. It was unthinkable. I mean, come on - they **** knew I cheated. But I was expected to lie about it.

You can count on me to work hard. That is a fact. I have always been a hard worker. And you can count of me to always work smart. And you can absolutely count on me to cheat. The man who will not cheat just doesn't want to win badly enough. The man who refuses to cheat is destined to be a lahoo-hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo-ser.
