Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald speaks the truth:And there it is in a nutshell. It has nothing to do with budget issues. It's all about politics. Karl Rove recently admitted the same thing.They tell us that it's the teachers, and other state workers that are the cause of all our fiscal problems, and you right wing flying monkeys buy that crap hook line and sinker.Meanwhile the fat cats on Wall Street are laughing at you. They tanked our economy, and got off scott free, and now are making more money than ever.Talk about shared sacrifice. What did these Wall Street bastards have to sacrifice? They sold what they knew was worthless paper, drove our economy off a cliff, and not one of them has gone to jail for that.Instead we demonize **** teachers and nurses.Personally, if it was up to me I would assault every base the Democrats have to ensure a Republican controlled government for the next couple of decades. Not only would I cut some of our costs but I effectively eliminate these artificially created bases that the Democrats use to remain in power(main reason I don't like them). From there with power firmly consolidated and the ability to pass bills with great ease - I'd begin to dismantle various portions of the government that I find pointless, harmful, or just downright wasteful. Department of Education along with destroying every entitlement program for people below twenty-five and raising the requirements/age restrictions for those still under the umbrella of such. Then I'd take a hacksaw to the military budget.Of course, that's what I would do. Politicians can never be trusted to do the right thing so I'm not going to hold my breath and expect the result to be just that.
