Yep! I understand that not all claims should be considered, due to fraud. I get that. However, these are claims that they were obligated to pay out. Now some will say, then why didn't the victims just sue them? Well...for one, lawyers cost money. For two, they might be dead. Three, they would only be fined. Let's assume the best case scenario. Say a victim won in court. Ok...great. The insurance company gets a fine that is a scratch to their profit margin. It's a nickel in the bucket. Lawsuits are just the cost of doing business for them. Overhead.
