Here is a list of the various ways that Russian Studies grads can make enormous contributions to our society.and also earn a huge salary plus retirement pension.
There must be a huge demand for people with their elite talents and skills.

An Interpreter was on that list. He can't speak Russian. His major wasn't just Russian studies, it was 19th century Russian studies. So that list even gets shorter for him, such as a diplomat.
