Doubt it. The Mexicans tried that about 15 years ago. They were complaining that people don't understand how important they were to the economy. So, they had some mass demonstration that included them not showing up for work to prove how difficult it would be for Americans to function. Nobody knew the difference and nobody gave a ****. The sun still rose, and the Earth didn't stop rotating on its axis. Everything was just fine.
