Most of our Board of Education here have Phds. Surely, they know what they are talking about and we should just sit down and shut up.         

So, our education system has sucked *** since...forever. We are usually in the bottom 5 of the nation. They recently came up with an idea to change that. They wanted better test scores. Well, a reasonable and rational person would read what the research says about how students learn and can do better. There are myriads of studies supporting that shorter hours and days lead to better outcomes. too much info decreases memory retainment. So, what do our well-educated leaders propose? They want to consider longer school days and even mandatory Saturdays for some students. 

**** idiots. We all know about our board Ivy league moron here. He is more evidence that being educated does not equate to intelligence.       Hell, if our leaders are going to suggest this, then they may as well integrate 19th century Russian studies into the curriculum.
