Likewise, I don't really feel that bad for someone dying from drug abuse, being shot by a cop when breaking the law, or even dying from alcoholism or cigarette smoking. I respect the fact that they made their choice freely, and part of that is accepting the negative consequences of their actions.
And even though I've been vaccinated, I don't need a government nanny to tell me what's good for me.
I don't favor the government forcing anyone either. I do favor people making responsible choices. What should we make of a grandson who refused to get vaccinated , ends up with Covid, and lives with his elderly grandparent? The grandparent gets infected because of it and ends up deathly ill. The grandson knew the risk about the harm he could do his grandparent. I say **** that kid.
