This reminds me of Sun Tzu’s classic The Art of War regarding underestimating your enemy and overestimating yourself. Sun Tzu’s warns generals should avoid rashness, anger, pride, and carelessness. Yeah, that doesn't sound like Trump at all. He would never put his ego over making logical decisions or anything.
