I really could E Bike to work given suitable weather..

Getting a low cost one is concerning. The batteries  do cause fires..

An associate told me he gets about 200 miles with a 3$ charge from home in his Hyundai Ionic. 200 miles is 10 gallons for me if I am lucky.  43$..

I am not looking forward to filling up this week. Maybe I'll use my reserve purchased at $3.89 a gallon.. Prices could come back down with a TACO...
