The original poster inaccurately asserts that Mr. Walz was responsible for the safety of the children.
The children were actually under the care of a private school that did not ensure their protection. The private school requested financial support for security measures but did not obtain the necessary funding. Had the private school treated the threats with the seriousness they warranted, they would have arranged for their own security personnel. I anticipate that a lawsuit will emerge, with the private school as the defendant.
