Jagadeesh is very bent against that term, but I find it amusing. Can you imagine if someone made a bad saying for Americans that started with cowboy? No matter if you put the n word or another bad word behind cowboy, it becomes a funny insult that does not leave a welt for the American fellow.
Obviously, we are very proud of our curries. So the idea of making curry part of a negative utterance makes immediate comedy in our minds. Except for Jagadeesh. He has too many conversations with those people, and it poisons his thinking.
