I don;t see why pro athletes or celebrities should get special treatment at all.
Her lack of respect for the flag should not have anything to do with this. This is a free country and it is her right to not worship the flag.
I normally salute the flag, but I see no reason why the words "under God" should be a part of the Pledge, and I see no good reason to play the anthem and recite the pledge at pro entertainment venues. It doesn't bother me much, it just makes no sense.
Perhaps at Olympic events is makes sense to play the anthems of the winners after an event it over. But it makes no sense at NASCAR or other commercial pro sports venues.
