Putin wants the Communist USSR back.
He is willing to kill to get it back.
But he will die broken-hearted,.....because he cannot have it back.
Ukraine has tasted Freedom for the last 30yrs.
Independent, sovereign nation. 44 million strong, smart, White people.
They will die before they return to live under Communist Domination.
Note that in the USSR, the most influential leaders were NOT Russians: Lenin was Chugash, Stalin was Georgian, Khrushchev was Ukrainian.
The only enlightened Russian leader seems to have been Gorbachev.
