I assume that you are referring to Robert Byrd of WV, who was a member of the Klan in his youth, but left it and admitted that joining the Klan was a bad mistake. For his last two terms, he received a majority of the votes of Black West Virginians, so apparently this is not any sort of issue.

The leader of the Democratic Party has always been the presidential nominee in the previous election. Byrd was NEVER a presidential nominee, he was just a senator who did precisely that Joe Manchin is doing now: figuring out ways to get federal funding for any project in WV.
MAGA ratbags are no good at propaganda, they should just give up. No one will vote for a Republican because of the long deceased Byrd's brief affair with the Klan.
