I think most ceiling fans sold in the US are made in (where else?) China, so the "manufacturers" are actually middlemen and wholesalers. I have bought five ceiling fans and on was made in Taiwan, the rest in China. Biden will confiscate no fans. People can continue using their present fans and repair them if they wish.
The proposed regulations apply to NEW fans sold after the date of the regulation. And those who protest regulations always exaggerate. They would still be peddling tetraethyl of lead in gasoline and Freon 12 for AC's is not for regulations.
