State legislatures pass silly laws, like this one. This one was probably lobbied for by the Roman Catholic Church. As I said, it is a silly law. I am opposed to murdering anyone, pregnant or not. But it is a silly law and I would have voted against it.
Why does it make sense for a majority of old men to pass laws forcing a woman to give birth to a child she does not want? I say THAT is what makes no sense.
