Bob Dole was Gerald Ford's VP running mate in 1976 and they lost to Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale.
Bob Dole chose Jack Kemp as his running mate in 1996 and they ran against Bill Clinton and Al Gore.
Bob Dole died at age 98 in 2021. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
