Jesus told a group of disciples after his brief return following the Resurrection, that he would return before the last of them has tasted death.
That was abut 2,000 years ago.
How, pray tell, is a 2,000 delay not slow?
Peter and Paul both believed and stated that they expected Jesus to return within their lifetimes.
