the people made up their minds actual living doesn't matter when humans can make up their own laws saving social consensus tomorrow and there is nothing in the universe that can stop it, except extinction.
When one does not remember, then one has perhaps evolved into a less coherent being wasting space of cognitive recollection by continuously pondering evolution and thus, causing its own extinction.
