Big rallies are one thing; popularity for conservative causes basically.
Trump's the top of the heap for those, no doubt.
He is entertaining and can get the party energized. A good figurehead.
Doesn't mean they'll vote for him if a viable candidate surfaces...
...especially if he starts **** with people in the party for personal (and useless) gain.
most might move on, but some will never betray tRump
