I've been reading this dialogue with great interest but without contribution because I don't know enough about Usury. I only learned how to spell it a couple of days ago. But I am curious about this: If we are the bad guys because we use fiat currency and we loan money with interest, are we not in the majority? Most countries follow the same practice, even Bangladesh and India. And more importantly, if Islam's main beef with the West is our financial system, why are we only hearing it from you, CP? So, you've not shown me that we have a single enemy that ISN'T forbidding interest or a single friend that DOES. In and of itself, that validates the theory I voice as being at least evidence based. I'm not saying I've established cause and effect, but I've sure as **** correlated them.
As to islam, most islamists are engaged in a conspiracy to pay their mortgages and send their kids to college. Very few fantasize about going to valhalla in a blaze of glory. I didn't google that factoid, by the way (though one can). I'm just not a nine year old girl and I know a thing or two about real (not cartoon) human beings.
