A).I helped coach my daughter's team. One of the girls misjudged a ball, took it off the forehead and concussed. Done for the season.
B) women's sticks don't have "pockets"...they're lighter, the shafts thinner. Non-goalies are penalized for putting themselves in a position to be hit by a shot on net.
