Let's see. In the Reagan era, The conservative mindset was that mental illness was a stigma and funding was cut for it. Here is another fact that you aren't going to like. Guns in America is nothing new. They have been around long before Columbine. Like since 1776. No school shootings. No fear of dead children. Then poof! You guys come into the picture. And here we are. Explain that.
