I do not hate the police I want to change policing in this country to a model of community policing.
I would like the police to be a trusted institution so that people feel they can report to them with no qualms or fears.
That means stopping the culture of lying in the police departments and encouraging them to communicate with their communities so that they know who the criminals are.
A military standoff lying authoritarian power Trip is not it.
It's not effective and it is offensive to the freedom of the citizens.
