Only two months after a dopey TSA agent got canned for leaving a note in a traveler’s luggage about her sex toy, another agent pulled a stunningly similar stunt by leaving a note in a rap star’s bag cracking wise after allegedly spotting a half-ounce of pot.
“C’mon son,” the worker allegedly scrawled on a Transportation Security Administration “Notice of Baggage Inspection” flier, in apparent response to the discovery of the marijuana, which hip-hop performer Freddie Gibbs admits was left in his bag.
It was only in October when another TSA worker at Newark Airport was fired after he wrote the words “Get your freak on girl” on the same type of TSA notice when he found a vibrator in the luggage of Jill Filipovic, a lawyer and blogger.
This time around, Gibbs — a k a Gangsta Gibbs — didn’t seem to mind what others might have taken as a serious invasion of privacy.
“The TSA found my weed and let me keep it. They just left me a note. ‘C’mon Son’ Lol,” Gibbs tweeted Wednesday.
He even seemed to take pride in having opened a whole new chapter of the Mile High Club. “All this fuss over a half ounce of weed. I love it,” Gibbs tweeted yesterday.
TSA said it was investigating, and hinted that Gibbs, 29, might not be out of the woods yet.
“TSA takes all allegations of inappropriate conduct seriously and is investigating this claim,” the agency said in a statement.
“Should the claims be substantiated, TSA will take appropriate disciplinary steps and refer the alleged possession of an illegal substance to law enforcement.”
