If I were to quote someone from an article in a magazine, I would say, for example, "righteous bragged about **** little boys in the *** in the November 14th, 2021 issue of NAMBLA magazine". If Soros was quoted in Newsweek in some issue in 1979, the quoter would know what issue and page that quote came from.
