I've known that piece of luggage by that term for my entire career, and I've known a few guys who have carried it and THEY referred to it using that term as well. BTW: There are nuclear bombers in the air 24-7-365....with the capacity to hit anywhere in the world...do you feel this is a waste of taxpayers $$$.
And do I think that effective nuclear deterrence is a waste of taxpayer money? Not in the least, any more than I think that Navy task forces that are at sea, at choke points around the globe, instead of sitting in port until the **** hits the fan are a waste. Vigilance and readiness ain't cheap. They ARE necessary, however.
