and @Beekeeper  can chose to not drive on interstate highway systems, but he cannot chose to avoid paying for them.... EVERYBODY chips in for the highways and fire departments, and the Army and Navy and Air Force...and the Public Health Service and all SORTS of programs that are controlled and administered by the government. That isn't socialism.  Socialism is not government control of segments of the economy or utility/service delivery system, Socialism is government ownership and control of the means of production throughout the economy.
