Gee, tushyeater, the only one that is screaming about Fire Departments NOT being Socialist is YOU!! Because I never said they were. Same with Police and roads. BUT I did say that in order to have those things, you are a person with UNALIENABLE RIGHTS, must voluntarily give up the portrion of those rights YOU POSSESS to others to carry out on YOUR behalf!! THAT'S NOT MY CLAIM TO SOCIALISM, BUT THE WAY A REPUBLICAN NATION WORKS!!
SO you made the list, dorkus!! Enjoy it!!
Oh, and yes, there ARE those in the MAIN STREAM DEMOCRAT PARTY that want SOCIALISM. See the VIDEO I posted above as well. AND you IDIOTS came within a frogs hair of nominating a SOCIALIST (admitted) to be your CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT!! So spare us the HYPERBOLE on there isn't any "mainstream Democrfats" who aren't wanting MORE SOCIALISM!! There were over 120 of them who SIGNED ON AS COSPONSORS to the "Medicare for All" BILL, ARSEHOLE!!
Medicare for All is not socialism. Socialism is not government subsidy and oversight over discreet segments of the service delivery economy. Socialism is government ownership and control of the means of production of the entire economy. Americans, through their elected representatives, will collectively agree, perhaps, at some point in the future, to adopt Medicare for all. If they do, that will be no different that agreeing to have government take the lead in snow plowing, electricity delivery, or road/bridge/tunnel/dam/canal construction and maintenance. No one is saying that there will be unanimity in adopting that program, but I am sure that there was not unanimity when the interstate highway system was built either. If you are SO dead set against government involvement in health care, **** move.... but I'd be interested to hear where you think you go where government is LESS involved in healthcare than here. Mexico? nope. Canada? nope.
Great Britain? nope? Anywhere in the EU? nope.
