I too, take time to return warm words with warm words. It's how civil society works best.
I also know that I am not anywhere near as courteous or respectful of folks, especially folks in a different tribe than me, when I am cloaked in the solitude and anonymity of the internet.
If someone jumps in front of me on the side of the street and takes the cab that I have been waiting for and who I hailed to stop... I won't physically assault him, but I will certainly tell him to go **** himself.
