again... there is no "defense" there. There is merely a prioritization of importance.
I don't like murderers. I don't like shoplifters. I think putting perpetrators of the former in prison is more important.
I don't like climate change. I don't like the idea of men in dresses using ladies' rooms. I think the former is a greater threat to society.
