And I have noticed, over the years, that the folks on the internet who label other folks as "spell check Nazis" are almost always people who have terrible spelling skills and terrible grammatical skills. That deficit reflects a lack of self-esteem and self-discipline, which is just shoddy and lazy. I would be deeply embarrassed if I knew I was projecting that image of myself simply through an easily correctable lack of care and precision in my writing. But that doesn't seem to bother you in the least.
