January 6th was an attempted insurrection. It had nothing to do with free speech. It had to do with attempting to disrupt the Constitutionally mandated peaceful transfer of power, and it had to do with attempting to lynch the Vice President of the United States. Those are treasonous activities, IMHO.
And no... I certainly would NOT cheer or dance in the street if Donald Trump were to be assassinated before the election. I have high hopes that he will meet his untimely demise by being shivved by a black, transgendered fellow convict while wearing an orange prison jumper. Inshallah!
