Wanna hear the funny part? There is more EVIDENCE for my claim than there is for yours. You may see yours as "logical," but mine would explain observed data such as exhausted wells being found replenished a couple of generations after having been written off and abandoned.
But let's hope YOU'RE right - it would be nice if the earth were a few degrees hotter.
