The dick sucker is only crying for the "poor renters" because he is stuck on stupid. The idea of a land tax - as DISTINCT from a real estate tax - is a progressive idea. The queer hates anything progressive.

Just to distinguish: With a land tax, if you buy a building lot and build a house, and I buy an equivalent building lot and build a multi-story commercial building, and my cousin Vinnie buys an equivalent building lot and leaves it sit vacant, come tax time, WE ALL PAY THE EXACT SAME TAX BILL. This arrangement tends to encourage, rather than hamper, real estate rising to its highest and best use. Residents are likelier to fancy up their homes, because it raises only their value - NOT their tax bill. Builders are likelier to maximize the value of lots, and vacant land owners are urgently encouraged to **** or get off the pot, because leaving the lot a vacant eye-sore/dumping ground does NOT lower their tax bill.

There is a lot of "social justice" built into a land tax (again, NOT a real estate tax, which is regressive). That is why the queer reflexively opposes it.

the simplicity of a land tax is the reason I like it.  You cannot hide land as an asset.. it removes the need for a million bean counters at the IRS and another million auditors trying to track down hidden money at Cayman Islands and **** like that.

simplifying the tax code is a huge benefit of LVT, and that’s why they hate it
