The masses are hopelessly brainwashed. You see evidence of this everyday...on this very forum, for example. Giving them 'freedom' is about as kind as pushing then out of an airplane, expecting they can fly. They can't.
the deli owner wafts smells of his pastries toward passers by to tempt them. That smell of fresh baked pie can totally subvert the higher thinking processes that led to making a decision about eating healthy. This is violence against us all, for profits.
