We moved from a manufacturing economy to a service economy. I grew up in Flint Michigan. I saw the decline of the auto plants in Flint and Detroit, thanks to the import of Japanese cars. I saw the town I grew up in go from a vibrant community to a ghetto filled with unemployed bums and watched the Fischer body and GM plants turn into urban ruins, which me and my friends explored as kids.
I saw FIRSTHAND how the globalism you worship ruins Americans, your insistence that prosperity = dependence is Orwellian.
