For many, being homeless is a sad, unavoidable reality they must deal with, but for some, homelessness is a choice.
I know people who are offered housing on a condition.. that they submit a clean UA sample. Many addicts would simply rather live on the streets and do drugs, than be clean and sober with housing. That is a choice.
In some way, the answer to homelessness should be understanding what makes the American system of governance and economics so repulsive to many people that they choose not to engage at all, choosing homelessness and addiction over participating in this fake society ?
only a sick culture would produce millions who literally choose suffering and death over mainstream existence
