In 1930, there was more feet than shoes. Now there is more shoes than feet, and we are absolutely over saturated with every commodity, far beyond what we can use. Hence planned obsolescence, which ironically resembles the heart of Communist ideology.. central planned economy.
does that mean that socialism is any more viable now than in 1930.? Probly not, but it absolutely changes the game
