There was some suggestion to convert a cruise ship into an aircraft carrier but Hitler had no interest.
There is no way you could explain why hitler...who had air superiority over Britain for a long time...would not build aircraft carriers if he seriously wanted to invade Britain. You just cannot explain that.
There is no document proving that Hitler wanted to invade Britain and it is inconsistent with what facts we do know. Clearly Hitler wanted Britain to simply stop fighting. He even hoped they could be allies.
