well they don’t need to be invaded, but like you said, the Mexican government cracks down too hard on the cartels, and the DEA loses money. We could never invade them with that rationale, however because it flies in the face of the narrative we present - Champions of democracy, shining city on a hill, all that moral high ground that the US still has in the eyes of simpletons.
I respect Putin for doing what he thought needed done, and not having reams of phony rhetoric that would contradict it. The U.S. is so two faced in foreign policy, pretending to be the good guys when we are actually the villain
