I'm not a Twitter user either but it is quoted a lot. FB helps me stay in touch with friends and family around the world. During COVID lockdowns it helped to stay in touch with local friends.
I help moderate a couple of special interest FB groups. The local group is easy to moderate because people behave when they know their real life friends will read what they post. The national group is more difficult because people are less constrained when posting to strangers.
That brings me back to my original thought. The Internet failed as a platform to promote mutual respect and understanding. I'm unclear how Elon can succeed where everybody else failed.
