2 in 5 people are stupid and superstitious. Whatever gets them through the day without breaking The Golden Rule is not a bad thing. If they believe something unseen is real enough to motivate themselves, it can't be any worse than compassion, empathy, etc. Of course, hate and resentment are in that mess too. YouGov surveyed about 1,000 adults and discovered not all Americans believe supernatural creatures are just comics and tall tales. About 43% of adults say they believe demons exists, and 8% to 9% said werewolves and vampires exist.
