The Constitution says the House shall have sole power of impeachment it does NOT say they will do the investigation. His rules say that none of the evidence collected as part the House's impeachment inquiry will be admitted automatically.
Instead, the Senate will vote later on whether to admit any documents.

Any evidence collected by the House should be automatically admitted in the Senate trial.
