I am also not a registered Democrat, but I will vote for the Democratic nominee in the general election, no matter who it is.
I will have to hold my nose really hard to vote for Bernie, but now that I live here in PA, every vote counts.
When I was living in NY, I could afford to write someone in.
That's not an option now.
I want to see REAL universal healthcare like the rest of the industrial world has. People should not DIE from being poor nor go bankrupt because of an illness. I want to see a change in SS so it is a REAL pension. full disclosure I was not in SS I was in a private pension plan and now have a very comfortable retirement because of it. People who struggled their entire lives to make ends meet on low wages should have a COMFORTABLE life when they retire. I do its is great and I would like to see that for EVERYBODY. I am NOT an economic darwinist. I think making higher education free would pay for itself the way the GI Bill paid for itself creating the greatest middle class the world has ever seen. Most other first world countries do this or something like it. Conservatives always SAY they love America but they SURE never want to invest in it or in AMERICANS I am tired of seeing EVERYTHING turned into a revenue stream for wealth and being told we have NO ALTERNATIVE to everything being a revenue stream for wealth.
I can boil down by political beliefs to TWO STATEMENTS
property doesn't have rights PEOPLE have rights and when there is a choice between people and property people MUST take precedence and
I never NEVER side with the powerful against the weak
