WHen McCarthy called him he first said it was Antifa the talking point he had READY for the violence he WANTED. McCarthy told him NO these are your people and Trump said well I guess they care more about the election than you do Kevin. OBVIOUSLY the VIOLENCE was EXACTLY WHAT TRUMP WANTED
